Stainless Style is a synth-rock concept album about the life of John DeLorean, playboy creator of the winged sports car that was Back to the Future’s time machine. The duo’s tinny new-wave pop is spot-on, especially in the punch-drunk keyboards of “Belfast” and “Raquel,” but not even Spank Rock can save the crunk-rap tracks — “Sweatshop” is un-p.c., uninventive, and unspeakably unsexy.
