First it was sexy, and now, Justin Timberlake plans to bring southern back. James Famularo, exclusive real estate broker for the deal, confirmed to SPIN.com that the Memphis, TN-born singer is readying to open a down south barbecue restaurant called Southern Hospitality in Manhattan’s affluent Upper East Side neighborhood sometime in mid-April. The new eatery is the second venture of its kind for Timberlake, who is also a minor investor in Destino, an Italian restaurant headed by club mogul Eytan Sugarman. But Famularo claims the singer is more involved this time around. “Justin is taking a bigger stake…it’s his grass roots thing,” he told SPIN.com.
