Prince’s Next House Show Is a Pajama Party, of Course

Prince Pajama Party Paisley Park Breakfast House Concert

Prince has announced a second concert to be held at his Minneapolis-area home, Paisley Park, only this time it’s a pajama party. Doors open at 2 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, and the show is set to run “till the sun comes up.” Entry comes with a $50 donation, and guests have been asked to “dress 2 impress” and “keep it classy.” We’re not sure is the Purple One’s steamy new video for “Breakfast Can Wait” would fit that last criteria, but we are pleased to learn this event has been dubbed “The Breakfast Experience Pajama Dance Party.”

Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised — Prince has spent most of his career in PJs. We’re only happy that he’s inviting his fans in (literally) on the fun. While his October 5 Paisley Park gig spotlit his reunited band the New Power Generation, this particular party will be hosted by his fresh-faced, all-lady trio 3rdEyeGirl. This might be a promo spot for the event, in which case we hope to see Dave Chappelle on hand helping to serve up some hot cakes at an “All U Can Eat” morning buffet:

Okay, so the free food is unlikely, but the show’s poster offers promise enough:
