It’s about time! After a 16-year absence, My Bloody Valentine will return to the U.S. this fall to headline ATP New York, All Tomorrow’s Parties’ new U.S. event — co-curated by Kevin Shields and crew — scheduled for Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, NY (roughly 100 miles from NYC) Sept 19-21.

And MBV’s supporting cast is quite impressive: Built to Spill (Perfect From Now On), Tortoise (Millions Now Living Will Never Die), the Meat Puppets (Meat Puppets II), and Thurston Moore (Psychic Hearts) will all perform their seminal albums track for track, while Shellac, Mogwai, Polvo, Fuck Buttons, Autolux, the Drones, Low, Wooden Shjips, Edan, and Thee Silver Mount Zion Orchestra round out the bill. More performing acts will be announced soon.

And like the British ATP festivals, the New York-based event will be a fairly intimate affair; less than 3000 tickets will be sold to the three-day rock barrage, which will host concertgoers on site “in motel-like rooms.” Be waiting with your finger on the keyboard April 25 when tickets go on sale via atpfestival.com.
