Christina Aguilera’s officially gone from “Dirrty” to nerdy.

After venturing into raunchy R&B and jazzy torch songs, the pop star’s next album is shaping up to include a blog-a-rific parade of indie faves, with edgy Sri Lankan MC M.I.A., electropunks Ladytron, and Brooklyn-based songwriter/singer Santigold just emerging as Aguilera’s latest announced collaborators.

Calling in to her own online radio station on aperadio.com, Aguilera named those artists, but didn’t reveal too many details about her album, which is expected to be released in late 2009 or early 2010. “I know I can’t let too much out the bag too soon,” she said [via MTV]. “I just can’t, ’cause I really want you guys to be surprised and to experience firsthand what I’m talking about or what I’m not talking too much about.”

As previously reported, Aguilera’s been working closely with Australian solo artist Sia, who rose to fame via her lead vocals for Zero 7, and other rumored collaborators have included Le Tigre and Goldfrapp, although Aguilera’s reps have yet to confirm their participation.
