Brit Award Winners Announced

The Brit Awards, held tonight in London, have crowned America’s own the Killers as Best International Group, as well as awarded their sophomore album, Sam’s Town, as the Best International Album of 2006, NME.com reports. Other winners include British Live Act winner Muse, Best British Group and Best British Album awardees the Arctic Monkeys, Best British Female Solo Artist Amy Winehouse, and British Breakthrough Act the Fratellis. Oasis were honored for their outstanding contribution to music and played a ceremony closing gig and cut through classics like “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” “Morning Glory,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
