In the wake of the controversy sparked in June by Chick-Fil-A COO Don Cathy’s condemnation of gay marriage for religious reasons, some awesome things are beginning to happen. One was how CNN “accidentally” played Pink’s “Stupid Girls” last week when intro’ing a segment on how Sarah Palin supports Chick-Fil-A (by the way, they really “regret” it). The other is the number of LGBT couples who have begun posting pictures of themselves kissing in front of Chick-Fil-A restaurants in protest. Joining them today were Cole Alexander and Jared Swilley of Atlanta garage-punks the Black Lips. “Black lips headed to chick fil a! Can’t decide what’s gonna taste better, A chicken sandwich,or Jared’s tongue shoved down my throat,” Alexander tweeted this afternoon. After publishing the photo, he added, “I wish i looked romantic in that shot. -¢ I'” Aw, you look great, pal. We’re glad we spent our time at Bonnaroo chauffering you around.
