Travis Scott will perform publicly for the first time since Astroworld 2021. Last year, the rapper’s music festival ended in tragedy with a total of 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries after crowds surged and trampled concert-goers. After performing at two private events this year, the rapper is going public with his performances again headlining three Primavera Sound festivals in South America. The three festivals announced earlier today include dates in São Paulo, Brazil on November 6; Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 12; and Santiago, Chile on November 13.

The private events Scott performed for include a pre-Oscars house party in Bel Air, California, and a Coachella afterparty in a La Quinta Venue where he performed five of his songs. Videos of Scott performing “Sicko Mode” circulated on social media the morning after the pre-Oscars party.

Early next month, Scott is set to make an appearance at E11even nightclub in Miami on May 7 according to TMZ. Pitchfork says a source tells them Scott will host the event, but not perform himself.

Last week Scott collaborated with Future and 808 Mafia producer Southside on “Hold That Heat,” his first release since the Astroworld tragedy.
