Phoebe Bridgers‘ latest track, “Sidelines,” which she teased earlier this week, is out now.

“Sidelines” marks Bridgers’ first original song since her 2020 album Punisher. She created the track with Marshall More and Ruby Rain Henley, and it released via Dead Oceans. It will (oh, so sadly) be the only original song from Bridgers this year.

This March, she released a live recording from Sound City of “Chinese Satellite,” which is the sixth track from her latest work. She recently helped out Bright Eyes for a cover of Elliott Smith’s “St. Ides Heaven,” and collaborated with Conor Oberst for a reimagining of a Bright Eyes song.

Conversations With Friends is an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s book of the same name and premieres May 15 on Hulu.

Bridgers embarked on her 2022 tour this week, as she had her first show last night in Phoenix. She’ll perform both weekends of Coachella this month and then continue her tour throughout North America. In mid-June, Bridgers will head overseas to tour Europe and the UK before returning to the states for several dates in August.
