Kehlani has released a new single “Up at Night” that features Justin Bieber. The track will appear on her third album, blue water road, which will be released on April 29. The album is available for pre-order and pre-save here.
The new track features sultry verses, with a punchy chorus delivered in Kehlani’s enchanting style. Bieber enters the track with a cameo, continuing the duo’s collaborations which first appeared in “Get Me” from Bieber’s 2020 album Changes.
“It’s about having a healthily obsessed relationship. You’re telling someone, ‘I love you so much it keeps me awake at night’. I love what Justin did, and it’s such a fun one to dance to,” Kehlani said in a statement.
This track follows the release of “Little Story,” another track off of her forthcoming album, which followed a few months after “altar” the first single from the album released in September 2021. “altar” was released alongside an accompanying video which featured super-producer Pop Wansel who helped produce the track.
The release of blue water road will follow Kehlani’s impressive sophomore album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The album was released in May 2020 and received raving reviews, and has been streamed 1 Billion times globally to date.
