Foo Fighters have canceled all upcoming tour dates. The news comes four days after drummer Taylor Hawkins died in Bogota, Colombia ahead of the band’s appearance at the Estéreo Picnic Festival.

Here’s the statement in full.

It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.

With Love,

Foo Fighters

There’s been an outpouring of support for the band following the news of Hawkins’ death. Tributes from across the music community have been shared on social media. A number of artists have paid tribute to the late Hawkins by covering the band’s songs in concert or dedicating performances in his memory.

Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform at the Grammys this Sunday night. The band is nominated for three awards, including Best Rock Song. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last October in Cleveland.
