After nearly four years, Jack White has returned with the hard-driving new song, “Taking Me Back,” via Third Man Records.

The 12-time Grammy winner performed all of the vocals and instruments. The song arrives with a softer, “Taking Me Back (Gently),” and both premiered on White’s YouTube page with electric visuals. White also produced the songs at his Third Man Studios in Nashville.

“Taking Me Back” was also unveiled in the Call of Duty: Vanguard video game trailer, along with game footage that appears in its lyric video. The game launches worldwide on November 5.

Third Man Records recently detailed its 50th vault package for The White Stripes – Live at the Detroit Institute of Arts. White’s independent record label opened the doors to its third location and first internationally this September in London.

The legend’s latest music was the 2018 Boarding House Reach. A little over a year ago this month, White took the Saturday Night Live stage and performed “Lazaretto” and “Ball and Biscuit.”
