Ariana Grande won’t be following through on her scheduled performance at the Grammys this year, according to Variety. And she reportedly won’t be attending the show, either.

The news, initially reported by HITS, comes after a dispute with the Grammys’ producers over which songs Grande would be performing. Per Variety, Grande was “insulted” when the producers wouldn’t allow her to perform recent single “7 Rings,” and pushed for more creative control. The producers reportedly offered a compromise in which Grande would sing “7 Rings” as part of a medley, along with another song of their own choosing. Grande refused, and consequently pulled out of the show. Variety added that these sorts of creative restrictions were not imposed on the other performers at the show.

This Sunday’s Grammy Awards will follow the release of Grande’s new album, Thank U, Next by just two days. Grande is nominated for both Best Pop Solo Performance (“God Is a Woman”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (Sweetener), but was denied a spot in the Album of the Year and Record of the Year categories.

Catch the Grammys February 10 — Alicia Keys will host, and Post Malone will tag team a performance with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Don’t be surprised if Posty takes home Album of the Year, too.
