Video: Turnstile – “Bomb / I Don’t Wanna Be Blind”

All the songs on Turnstile’s recent album Time + Space are short, so it makes as much sense to shoot a double video as anything else. That’s just what the Baltimore punks have done in today’s new clip, which blends Time + Space’s shortest song, the 25-second “Bomb,” into the next track, “I Don’t Wanna Be Blind.” The story arc follows a group of young people who give chase to a sports car that’s carelessly run over a bouquet of daisies, and like the album, the final product is short but explosive.

To create “Bomb / I Don’t Wanna Be Blind,” Turnstile enlisted director Atiba Jefferson and director of photography Ty Evans, both notable figures from the world of skateboarding photography and video. Watch the new video below and revisit Spin’s February cover story on the band, “Turnstile Are the Real Thing.”
