An American Treasure, a 60-song collection of unreleased material from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, is coming out on September 28. One song from the compilation has already been released: “Keep a Little Soul,” an outtake from the 1982 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album Long After Dark. Today, Reprise Records has released a second advance single, “You and Me (Clubhouse Version),” complete with a video featuring footage of Petty and the band playing along with photos and videos sent in from Petty superfans. The mellow, nostalgic track, dominated by Petty’s acoustic guitar and some tasteful piano accompaniment, was recorded by the Heartbreakers in 2007.
