A private plane carrying Post Malone and several members of his team will soon make an emergency landing after apparently blowing two landing gear tires during takeoff, TMZ reports. The plane departed from New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport at 10:50 this morning. According to a Federal Aviation Administration source that spoke to the Associated Press, the jet was diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield, Massachusetts, where it will attempt to land.

The plane was headed to London Luton Airport in Luton, England. After his performance at the VMAs last night, the next stop on Post Malone’s tour is in Reading, England on August 24. After speculation on social media that the diverted flight was Post’s private jet, TMZ apparently confirmed that the rapper was onboard. In air traffic control audio acquired by TMZ, the pilot can be heard saying that the plane has lost a tire, and that 16 people are on board. According to TMZ, the jet is heading to Massachusetts to burn off fuel for a safer emergency landing.

We’ve reached out to a Post Malone representative and will update this post if we hear back.

Update (3:54 p.m.): The plane has landed safely at New York Stewart International Airport.
