In the buildup to her new album Queen, Nicki Minaj was forced to push back the album’s release date multiple times, in part due to an uncleared sample of a Tracy Chapman song. With the album’s release this past Friday, Nicki has now released the song separately from the album. Titled “Sorry,” the track interpolates of Shelly Thunder‘s dancehall classic “Sorry,” which borrows chords and lyrics from Chapman’s single “Baby Can I Hold You.” Listen below.
