Flying Lotus has released a new track called “Heroes Pt. 5.” The final installment of Adult Swim’s 7th annual Singles Program, the syrupy single features a driving house kick beneath angelic synth pads, later covered in a flurry of quick-paced samples—the longest and most discernible of which comes from the anime series Dragonball.
Though he hasn’t released an album since 2014’s You’re Dead!, the producer has since kept fans satisfied with seven new tracks from his film scores on Soundcloud, as well as a number of other one-off singles in the last couple years. Hear “Heroes Pt. 5” below.
