Pusha T‘s new album DAYTONA is coming out tomorrow, the first in a string of Kanye West-produced records for G.O.O.D. Music artists that Kanye first teased what feels like a million years ago, but was actually just last month. The former Clipse MC was interviewed by Angie Martinez about the record New York’s Power 105 this morning, and naturally, Angie asked him what he thinks about his buddy Kanye’s recent rebirth as a MAGA guy. Pusha, who campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the last election, affirmed that he is “totally against” Kanye’s political views.

“It’s just one of many things that we disagree on, and we disagree all the time,” he said. “It’s just a stance that I have. I mean, I’m totally against it.”

He also talked a bit about working with Kanye together on music, which sounds exactly as hectic as you might expect: “He changed my artwork last night at 1 a.m.,” he said, ie. 23 hours before the music is scheduled to be released. When Martinez asked him if Kanye’s current views have made it into his own new music, Pusha said yes.
