Legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr has released his new song, “Walk Into the Sea,” from his upcoming 3rd solo album Call The Comet. The steely cool track gives off the feeling of floating deep into the ocean and comes with a similarly themed video. In the clip directed by Mat Bancroft and Marr, the band plays on a set that’s flooded in blue and white light which gives the impression that they’re underwater. It is the third song released from Call The Comet, and follows “The Tracers” and “Hi Hello.” Call The Comet will be out on June 15 and Johnny has already announced that a tour is scheduled to follow in the fall.
