Years & Years are a British dance-pop band that scored to mega hits in the U.K. a few years back with the singles “King” and “Shine,” both of which let taut verses explode into wide-open hooks that deserved the attention they found in Britain. Over here they are a niche concern, but hopefully that will change with the release of Palo Santo, the group’s second album, which will be out July 6.
It’s led by the lead single “Sanctify,” which doesn’t expand on the sound of their debut album Communion as much as it does enshrine it. The Palo Santo tracklist is below, as is a note posted to Instagram by lead singer and songwriter Olly Alexander, as well as what may be the album cover.
