Dave Matthews Band Announce New Album Come Tomorrow

at The Night Before Dave Matthews Band Presented by Entercom on February 3, 2018 in St Paul, Minnesota.

Jam-band-to-the-masses Dave Matthews Band have revealed some details of their forthcoming ninth studio album, news of which they first announced in January alongside extensive summer tour dates. The new record is titled Come Tomorrow, and it’s out June 8 from RCA along with a bonus disc of live recordings. Meanwhile, the band’s tour kicks off next month in Texas.

In a press release, Dave Matthews Band said the group worked on the album at multiple studios and with multiple producers, including John Alagia, Mark Batson, Rob Cavallo, and Rob Evans. Alagia has previously produced the band’s 1993 debut Remember Two Things and various live recordings, while Cavallo produced their 2009 album Big Whiskey & the GrooGrux King.

Come Tomorrow is the first new music from DMB in six years, following 2012’s Away From the World. Back in February, the band’s longtime violinist Boyd Tinsley announced that he would be taking time away from the band to focus on his health and family, saying, “I will miss you guys & my brothers in the band but I’m somewhat worn out & need 2 spend more time with my family & 2 bring more balance to my life.”

The band hasn’t yet shared the album’s track list, but you can check out the silhouette-style cover art by artist Béatrice Coron below.
