Brooklyn three-piece A Place to Bury Strangers is back with Pinned, their fifth album and first in three years. Opening with previously-released singles “Never Coming Back” and “There’s Only One of Us,” the album channels inspiration from the films of Pedro Almodovar and Kathryn Bigelow into a meditation on the relentless, war-like possibilities of sound.
