William Patrick Corgan has released a new video for “Aeronaut”off of his Rick-Rubin produced new album, Ogilala. The clip, directed by David Liu and Rob Ruffler for Viacom NEXT, was apparently “conceived, created, and captured in virtual reality.”
The visual opens with Corgan playing a futuristic piano over what appears to be a reflecting pool. The Smashing Pumpkins frontman practically glows in his all-white ensemble as the scenery behind him changes from a starry night, to a natural setting full of cherry blossom trees, to a city skyline, and more. By the end, Corgan is floating in the midst of color gradients and bright bursts of light. Watch the new video below.
