On Marc Maron’s latest WTF podcast featuring Kim Deal, Maron revealed that a new album from The Breeders is due next year. The Breeders’ reps went on to confirm the album’s release year with Pitchfork. Back in October, the band released “Wait in the Car,” presumably the lead single off the album.
In addition to the album news, Kim Deal spoke about her struggle with sobriety and her 31-year-long music career with both The Pixies and The Breeders, and Maron discussed his reaction to his friend Louis C.K.’s admitted sexual misconduct. Listen to the full episode here.
