Sleater-Kinney – “Here We Come”

NEW YORK, NY - OCTOBER 03: (L-R) Janet Weiss, Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker of the band Sleater-Kinney attend the 2015 New Yorker Festival “Wrap Party” hosted by David Remnick at the top of the Standard Hotel, 848 Washington Street, on October 3, 2015 in New York City. Sleater-Kinney have dropped “Here We Come,” which comes from the sessions that birthed 2015’s No Cities To Love. The release comes with the goal of raising money for Planned Parenthood. Björk, St. Vincent, Bon Iver, Mary J. Blige and Mitski are some of the other artists who will release 7″ singles for the same cause later this year. Listen to “Here We Come” below.

The members of Sleater-Kinney have kept busy this year: Corin Tucker put out an album with the supergroup Filthy Friends, Janet Weiss is drumming in Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile’s band, and Carrie Brownstein has been working on Portlandia and played a constipated screw-up on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
