Cardi B performed her chart-topping hit “Bodak Yellow” on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night as part of his week of shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Kimmel, a native New Yorker, introduces Cardi as “a very special visitor from the Bronx” before the musician struts on stage, clad in head-to-toe hot pink, and delivers an enthusiastic, TV-friendly rendition of “Bodak.” Kimmel’s New York-themed set was evocative of her similarly colorful performance on the BET Hip-Hop Awards last week.
