MTV announced today that Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Video Music Awards. He’s so far the only announced hip-hop artist who’ll join this year’s slate of performers. Lamar also leads this ceremony with eight nominations (seven are for “HUMBLE.,” which is up for video of the year).
