2017 Mercury Prize Nominees: Sampha, The xx, Alt-J, Stormzy, and More

Each year, The Mercury Prize is awarded to the best British album of the year. This year’s shortlist includes previous Mercury Prize winners in The xx and Alt-J, as well as J Hus, Sampha, Kate Tempest, and Stormzy. Winners from past years include Skepta, PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys, and Portishead.
