Liam Gallagher Reveals As You Were Release Date, Announces U.S. Tour

Liam Gallagher‘s debut solo album As You Were will be out October 6, and he’s just announced his first-ever solo U.S. tour. The former Oasis brother also tweeted out the cover art (above), which is inspired by vinyl record sleeves and photographed by the iconic Hedi Slimane.

A full track list for As You Were remains frustratingly unavailable, but titles of several songs are mentioned in a press release. Four tracks were produced by Adele collaborator Greg Kurstin, including lead single “Wall of Glass,” “Paper Crown,” “Come Back To Me,” and “It Doesn’t Have to Be That Way.” The remaining songs, including “Bold,” “Greedy Soul” and “For What It’s Worth,” were produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat, who’s worked with artists like Radiohead, the Kooks, Lana Del Rey, and Halsey. An eighth As You Were song title, “Chinatown,” appears on the album’s Amazon.co.uk preorder listing.

As You Were is out October 6 from Warner Bros. (Incidentally, elder brother Noel Gallagher’s next solo album is said to be arriving in November.) Liam Gallagher will perform in North America at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival this summer—find his newly announced U.S. solo tour dates below.
