Watch the Flaming Lips Perform “There Should Be Unicorns” on Colbert

On Thursday night, the Flaming Lips performed “There Should Be Unicorns” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In a fashion typical to the band, it was a technicolored, off-the-wall spectacle. Frontman Wayne Coyne sang from atop a unicorn flanked by astronauts all the while bathed in trippy, day-glo lights, like a cross between ’90s Lisa Frank stationary and Star Wars. Never change, Wayne.

“There Should Be Unicorns” is off of their new album, Oczy Mlody. You can watch their out-of-this-world performance here, and stream the album here.
