Ed Sheeran has returned with ÷ (pronounced “divide”), his third album and his first since 2014’s x. The release will likely top the charts, and Sheeran is pretty optimistic about how the album will be received.
“The next album, I promise you, will sell less, but this album will sell more,” he told the Guardian when asked about how he feels ÷ will sell in comparison to x. “I don’t think I’ll have a year like this again.”
Sheeran walks into ÷’s release with the single “Shape of You” sitting at No. 1 on the Hot 100. Listen to the album in full below.
