Slowdive Announce First New Album in 22 Years, Release New Song “Sugar for the Pill”

The reunited Slowdive have announced a self-titled album, their first new record since 1995’s Pygmalion. It’s out May 5 via Dead Oceans. They’ve also released “Sugar for the Pill,” the second single from the record, which follows “Star Roving.” Listen to it below, and find the album’s tracklist and art.

Tomorrow, Slowdive will perform at London’s The Garage venue. The performance will be streamed on Slowdive’s Facebook, beginning at 4:10 Eastern.
