Watch Hamilton‘s Schuyler Sisters Add “Sisterhood” While Singing “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl

Before the Super Bowl kicked off tonight, Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Jasmine Cephas Jones—aka the Schuyler sisters in Hamilton—sang “America the Beautiful.” During their performance, they ad-libbed “sisterhood” onto the line “And crown thy good with brotherhood,” a tweak that can’t be read as apolitical. (Fun fact: “America the Beautiful” was written by Katharine Lee Bates,” a woman.) Watch the performance below.
