Yesterday, Dave Chappelle joined one of the dozens of protests that sprung up around the country in opposition to Donald Trump’s ban on immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries. Speaking to a large crowd in Dayton, Ohio, Chappelle opened with a joking plea to Trump.
“Donald Trump, wherever you are, I am BEGGING you! Stop ruining my Sundays,” he said. “We are all here because what you are doing does not seem right. As a matter of fact, it sucks. I support refugees, I support immigrants, and I love my friends and neighbors. Thank you.”
