New Music: Mew Announce New Album Visuals, Share “Carry Me to Safety”

Danish alternative band Mew will return in 2017 with a new album, Visuals, out April 28 from Play It Again Sam. The band announced the news today by releasing the album’s closing track, “Carry Me to Safety,” a slow-winding ballad that climaxes with layered vocals, cinematic synths, and saxophone flourishes.

Mew’s most recent album, +-, was released in April 2015. They’re touring Northern Europe this spring; see their website for dates. Hear “Carry Me to Safety” and review the Visuals track list below.
