Soulja Boy was arrested at his definitely-not-an-Airbnb home in Los Angeles today after police found a gun in the residence, TMZ reports. The rapper is currently on probation as a result of a 2014 case in which he pled no contest to charges of illegally carrying a loaded weapon in his car.
The cops were apparently tipped off by someone who reported that Soulja had used guns to threaten people online. He’s already facing a lawsuit over an August Instagram video in which he waved a gun and threatened an unnamed man, which could be one of the incidents the tipster reported. Soulja Boy had said that the weapon in that video was fake.
