Lorde is currently at work on her new album, which Jack Antonoff (of fun. and Bleachers) is helping to produce. On Monday night, the pair appeared together at New York City’s Webster Hall for a Christmas-themed “talent show” benefiting the LGBTQ activism organization the Ally Coalition, and performed an impassioned piano duet version of Robyn‘s “Hang With Me.”
Other acts at the star-studded benefit included Carly Rae Jepsen, Kesha, Charli XCX, Lena Dunham, CHVRCHES‘ Lauren Mayberry, and comedians Hasan Minhaj and Mike Birbiglia.
The quality on this video of Lorde and Antonoff’s performance isn’t great, but the audio is good enough. Listen and compare to Robyn’s 2010 original below.
