New Music: Conor Oberst – “Tachycardia (Full Band)” and “Afterthought”

Conor Oberst has shared two pieces of bonus music related to his latest solo album, this autumn’s Ruminations. “Tachycardia (Full Band)” is a fleshed-out version of a song from the album, while “Afterthought” is a leftover from the Ruminations sessions. Like much of the original album, it touches on the health troubles Oberst suffered while recording the album at home in Omaha, Nebraska last winter.

Both songs were previously released on a limited-edition Record Store Day 7″ for Black Friday, but they’re now available in the wild on streaming services and YouTube. Listen below.
