Despite the premiere of a corny new Apple Music commercial starring Drake and a surprise Donald Trump protest from Green Day, the ratings for this year’s American Music Awards dropped to an all-time low, according to TV By the Numbers.

The star-studded show reportedly received just a 2.4 rating, or 7 million viewers, which is down 31 percent from last year’s show and 30 percent from the previous all-time low, in 2012. By comparison, Sunday Night Football drew 16.91 million viewers and NCIS: Los Angeles got 11.23 million. [Stereogum]
