There is truly nothing like Halloween weekend in New Orleans, with the historic city coming alive to celebrate its colorful and ghostly roots. Returning for its 17th year at scenic City Park, the annual Voodoo Music + Arts Experience adds a whole other level to the festivities in the city, bringing together an eclectic lineup of artists (topped by headliners the Weeknd, Tool, and Arcade Fire this year) alongside a bevy of local food, arts and crafts, and carnival attractions.
SPIN — along with our friends at Stereogum, VIBE, and BrooklynVegan — will be onsite once again hosting intimate bonus sets from many of the fest’s best and brightest at the Toyota Music Den. Join us for up-close-and-personal performances from Shakey Graves, Chairlift, Sir the Baptist, Reignwolf, Saint Motel, Little Scream, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Oh Wonder, and many more. Highly-entertaining comedian Jak Knight will also be on-hand hosting the stage throughout the weekend.
