Watch a Nine-Second Video of a Slayer Fan Raging to “Raining Blood” During Hurricane Matthew

Lane Pittman, a.k.a. GingerLife, is a guitar player from Florida who’s attracted something of a social media following for his impressive mane of red hair. Earlier this week, as Hurricane Matthew battered the coast of his home state, Pittman did what any sensible metal fan would do: Cranked up Slayer‘s “Raining Blood,” grabbed the biggest American flag he could find, and went out in the street to headbang.

Last year, Pittman was briefly arrested in Jacksonville for shredding the national anthem too loudly on his guitar. Below, watch Pittman’s latest viral outing and listen the full-length “Raining Blood” from Slayer’s 1986 album Reign in Blood, which turned 30 this weekend.
