Priests Announce Debut Full-Length Nothing Feels Natural, Share “JJ” Video

After a string of acclaimed EPs and cassettes, the D.C. punk quartet Priests will release their debut full-length Nothing Feels Natural January 27th, on their own label Sister Polygon Records. They’ve also shared the first single “JJ,” a rollicking tune that pairs surfy guitar licks and demented barrelhouse piano with a growling lead vocal from Katie Alice Greer.

“I thought I was a cowboy, because I smoke Reds,” Greer repeats, before the song’s tense rock groove unexpectedly gives way to thick piano chords. “You thought I was disgusting.”

Greer also directed and edited the funny and vaguely unsettling “JJ” video, which you can watch below.
