Swedish synth-pop group the Radio Dept. won’t release their new album, Running Out of Love, until October 21, but you can hear the whole thing right now on NPR.
Beneath the record’s shimmering synthesizers and luscious sound, the lyrics explore contested political concerns of the band’s home country and the wider world, via tracks like “Swedish Guns” and the previously shared “We Got Game.”
Running Out of Love—which is on the way thanks to Labrador Records—is the Radio Dept.’s fourth album and first since 2010’s Clinging to a Scheme. The wait is over: Stream the new record below.
