Now that Bob Dylan is our newest Nobel laureate for literature, writers who put words into books might consider looking elsewhere for recognition and ego validation. Congratulations to Malcolm Gladwell, then: it’s hard to imagine a higher honor than learning that the guy who penned “Pillz” is a fan of your work.
Yesterday, a guy named Kevin Amaya spotted Gucci Mane on his Instagram story holding Gladwell’s latest book, David and Goliath, and tagged both men in a tweet.

Gladwell–whose works of pop social psychology are also beloved by some other rap artists you might be familiar with–reacted quickly, writing that the photo “might be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.”
Gucci Mane, ladies and gentlemen. This might be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. https://t.co/XNIIfBTlZx

Aw! Two buds. Even Kevin Amaya, the original tweeter, walked away feeling fulfilled.
