Yesterday’s ONE Musicfest in Atlanta promised to reunite the city’s legendary Dungeon Family collective of artists: Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, CeeLo Green, and Organized Noize were all on the lineup. The fest exceeded even those expectations when Andre 3000 appeared, marking OutKast’s first live performance in almost two years.
OutKast’s set included “SpottieOttieDopaliscious,” “Hootie Hoo,” and “So Fresh, So Clean.” They joined Goodie Mob for “Dirty South” and “Black Ice,” while CeeLo Green chipped in for “Git Up Git Out.” Other ONE Musicfest performers included Ice Cube, Erykah Badu, A$AP Ferg, and Anderson .Paak.
Yesterday’s reunion was spurred on by the March documentary The Art of Organized Noize, Dungeon Family members told the Washington Post. Watch fan-shot video of OutKast’s performance below, and revisit SPIN‘s recent interview with Big Boi for the 20th anniversary of ATLiens.
