Longtime (and occasionally incendiary) indie-folk singer-songwriter Mark Kozelek, a.k.a. Sun Kil Moon, has just released a second track from his forthcoming double album, Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood. In the follow-up to last month’s “God Bless Ohio,” the typically morose Kozelek has shared an unusually chipper cut called “I Love Portugal,” which sees him comparing the “calm” Southern European country to the (far less so) United States. Listen here, and look for Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood on February 28 via Caldo Verde.
