The only artists in history to get David Byrne and 2 Chainz on the same album, De La Soul are still fearlessly eclectic and took a page from their sometime collaborators Gorillaz with the enormous (and impressive) guest list on and the Anonymous Nobody…, their 12-years-in-the-making follow-up to 2004’s The Grind Date.

One of their biggest gets is the ever-silky Usher, whose own new album feels like it’s been incubating for just as long; you can listen to their gorgeous collaboration “Greyhounds” now below. And pick up Nobody… when it arrives on August 28 via their own AOI label.
