Update: After an hours-long standoff, the Los Angeles Times reports that Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon late Tuesday afternoon. Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Lt. Chris Ramirez said officers were transporting Brown to downtown L.A. for booking.

Update: TMZ reports that police have found one gun, other weapons, and drugs inside Brown’s home. Brown was also spotted throwing a duffel bag outside of a window. The singer bragged in one of his Instagram videos that the authorities weren’t going to find anything if they conducted a search.

Update: Brown has uploaded a series of Instagram videos maintaining his innocence as police wait outside. In the clip, the singer claims that he was asleep “half the damn night” the alleged incident occurred.

“I just wake up and all these motherf**king wake up [and] all these helicopters around, police out the gate,” Brown says. “What the f**k else do you want from me, bro? I stay out the way and take care of my daughter.”

Brown also says this incident only gives him extra publicity and that he refuses to leave his house because the gun he allegedly pulled on the woman isn’t on the premises. Watch the Instagram clips below.

Update: TMZ is reporting that the SWAT team is on its way to Brown’s home and the LAPD is in the process of obtaining a search warrant. Brown reportedly still hasn’t left the house.

Chris Brown is making headlines once again for alleged violence against women. TMZ reported that a woman called 911 after the troubled singer supposedly pulled a gun on her while they were in a Los Angeles home on Tuesday morning.

The tabloid said Brown was in the house with friends when a few uninvited attendees arrived. Brown then allegedly brandished a gun at one of the women after she was asked to leave. Another source gave a conflicting report saying that the singer was asleep during the whole incident.

These types of allegations have been recurring news for Brown all summer. Last June, reports surfaced that his former tour manager Nancy Ghosh quit after he threatened her over terms of employment while he was “irrational and high on drugs.” Just a few days earlier, TMZ reported that his manager Mike G was suing him for an assault that sent him to the emergency room.

Despite his alleged erratic behavior, Brown hasn’t been charged with a crime over the past few months. TMZ is reporting Brown is still in the same house where the incident took place and police “are knocking on the door, but no one inside is responding.” We’ll update as the story develops.
