Last year at this time, Wilco surprise-dropped an excellent album called Star Wars. Since we’re coming up on the record’s one-year anniversary (it came out on July 16, 2015), the Chicago mainstays have gone ahead and shared a new track called “Locator.”
“As the one-year anniversary of the release of Star Wars approaches we couldn’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than with the gift of song,” Wilco wrote on their website. “And so, we give you ‘Locator.’ Happy Birthday, Star Wars!”
